For twenty years, Chris Murray has been a Sprint Cup Engine Builder.  Since 1999 he has worked exclusively on restrictor plate engines used at the superspeedways, Daytona and Talladega.  While at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, he helped develop and build engines that won 17 superspeedway races, including three Daytona 500's in 2001, 2003 and 2004.  He currently works full time in the superspeedway program that won all four superspeedway races in 2010, including the Daytona 500.

When his son began quarter midget racing in 2006, Chris started Power by Murray Performance.  He's applied his years of building and developing engines to build strong and reliable quarter midget engines.  Still in it's infancy, Murray Performance engines have won several major races and the wins continue to grow everyday.  It's his attention to detail that leads to an accurately assembled, powerful engine that meets all required QMA and USAC rules.
